Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech)
About The Position
Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist to join its team. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., including holidays. The position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The technologist supports computed tomography services by applying knowledge of IVs, heparin locks, and central line use; completing ancillary tasks; maintaining accurate patient, file, image, and electronic medical record identification; tracking patients and correcting errors; and participating in department and hospital improvement activities, in-services, and meetings. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
- Certification by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Obtain CT Certification within one year of accepting the offer.

- Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- CT Tech experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of IVs, heparin locks, and central line usage as they relate to computed tomography.
- Complete ancillary tasks to support efficient and consistent departmental operations.
- Accurately identify patients and their files, avoiding mislabeled films, images, and EMR charts.
- Track patients according to department procedures, identify errors, and take immediate action to correct them.
- Participate in department and hospital performance-improvement initiatives, in-services, and meetings.
