Operate the compressor station in a safe and efficient manner. Responds to emergencies, scheduled and unscheduled overtime and after hour calls. This position is responsible for multiple stations. The Lead Compressor Operator position requires knowledge of natural gas pipeline related maintenance and construction activities, processes and operations including related DOT and OSHA regulations, 1 year experience as a Journeyman Compressor Operator, Electrical Qualification Level 1 EQ as per the WBI Safe Practices Manual, successful completion of required T-3 Operator Qualifications and cross-department training, successful completion of an advanced Natural Gas Engine or Compressor course (ie. Combustion, Turbine, Compressor), and successful completion of Advanced Compressor Operator Skills Checklist. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered, and must successfully complete the Compressor Operator Training Program. This position requires that you be able to respond to call outs within one hour. Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks, and subject to the company DOT substance abuse testing program. Ability to work independently. Must be able to perform all the essential functions required of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
