About The Position

CES keeps customers compressed-air systems running, and the field service technician is the person who makes that real. You’re in the field every day — performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing compressors, dryers, and air-system equipment, and responding when a customer goes down. The techs are the face of CES, and the service you deliver is what earns the next agreement.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience servicing compressed-air systems, industrial machinery, HVAC, or comparable mechanical equipment.
  • Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting — comfortable with hand tools, gauges, and diagnostics.
  • Able to read schematics and equipment manuals.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record — you’re in the field every day.
  • Able to lift and move equipment and work in plant and mechanical-room environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on air compressors — rotary screw, reciprocating, and oil-free — along with dryers, filters, controls, and related air-system equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and air-system problems in the field, and respond to reactive and emergency service calls.
  • Install and commission compressors, dryers, piping, and ancillary equipment.
  • Use a phone or tablet to document each visit — before-and-after photos, work performed, parts used, and recommendations — and clearly explain to the customer what was done and what’s coming next.
  • Spot additional needs — leaks, pressure drops, failing components — and flag them so they become the next job.
  • Keep your service vehicle, tools, and parts stocked and ready.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a strong safety record.
