About The Position

Operates equipment to manufacture gelatin and encapsulated products, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices. The role receives and weighs bulk materials, loads and adjusts automatic equipment, monitors production flow and gelatin receiver temperatures, and ensures finished products meet production standards. It also involves cleaning and reassembling production equipment, maintaining batch records, handling and transporting materials, and preparing vendor orders and shipments. Work is performed in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments and may involve overtime based on business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
At least 1 year of related manufacturing experience.
Fluent English communication skills to understand policies and procedures, follow instructions, maintain written records, perform data entry, and discuss problems with supervisors and staff.
Manual dexterity to manipulate controls and disassemble and assemble equipment.
Accurate basic math skills.

At least 1 year of related experience in compounding or blending.

Responsibilities

Receive, weigh, and subdivide bulk materials according to manufacturing procedures; load materials into automatic equipment and adjust settings to ensure proper ingredient mixing.
Monitor production flow, including gelatin receiver temperatures, to ensure finished products meet production standards.
Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas; disassemble, clean, and reassemble pumps, receivers, mixers, and other equipment according to procedures.
Maintain accurate and complete logs and batch records; use a computer for data entry and routine inquiries.
Operate drum lifters, forklifts, pallet jacks, and scales as needed to move and weigh materials and products.
Prepare outside vendor orders, gather scheduled materials, transfer products to new containers as necessary, and package products for shipping.
Perform all duties in compliance with safety rules, standard operating procedures, and good manufacturing practices.
