About The Position

The Compounder ensures the accurate production and documentation of liquid compounds in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations. The role involves precisely weighing and mixing raw materials, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and verifying the quality of finished products. The position also supports inventory management and the training of new compounders. Some duties may vary slightly by location.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred), or education in Chemical Technology or a related field (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in compounding or pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing environment (preferred).
High proficiency in attention to detail, time management, safety standards knowledge, quality control procedures, and following safety procedures.
Medium proficiency in teamwork and collaboration, understanding manufacturing processes, measurement knowledge, inventory management, problem-solving, and multitasking.
Low proficiency in analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Weigh and mix raw materials according to formula specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to meet product specifications.
Set up and calibrate equipment for accurate production runs.
Conduct quality control tests to ensure product integrity.
Record production data for batch records and compliance reporting.
Assist with inventory management of raw materials and final products.
Perform standard cleaning procedures based on work instructions.
Assist with training and supporting new compounders.
