The Component Specialist II (Hydraulics) is responsible for conducting all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations. This role involves maintaining a necessary set of tools to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic pumps & motors, and hydraulic valves to manufacturer’s specifications. The specialist will perform designated repairs and rebuilds on customer or company-owned components, including undercarriage track groups, idlers, rollers, equalizer bars, roller frames, and pivot shafts. The position requires working in a neat and orderly fashion, improving work methods, and maintaining facility appearance and shop conditions. Documentation of repairs, monitoring job expenses, and contributing to team efforts are also key aspects of this role. The specialist will train and mentor others in the department and perform other duties as assigned.
