About the position
The Compliance and Testing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the execution of daily activities related to product inspections, fabric and garment test report dispositions, preventative maintenance support, and cross-functional communication. They ensure that supply chain partners meet product quality standards as outlined by RTR requirements. The coordinator will be involved in processing and tracking brand-specific quality program operations, coordinating internal testing procedures, and managing physical and digital records of tested fabric and garment specimens. They will also collaborate with various departments to address compliance and testing issues across all categories. The ideal candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and possess intermediate knowledge of textile and garment construction, testing parameters, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform processing and tracking of brand specific quality program operations for product testing
- Ensure products are tested in accordance to RTR compliance protocols and quality performance expectations
- Assist in partnering with third party laboratories to carry out testing within designated turnaround times
- Monitor testing results and escalate risk factors for review
- Support preventative maintenance management to ensure timely processing
- Coordinate internal testing procedures to align with RTR standards and manage physical and digital records of tested fabric and garment specimens
- Partner cross-functionally with Buying, Fashion Ops, Site Merchandising to address compliance and testing issues across all categories
Requirements

- Function effectively in an especially fast-paced start-up operating environment and managing time effectively to address high priority items
- Have intermediate knowledge of textile and garment construction and limitations, dye and print techniques, trim components, testing parameters and standards
- Have proficient computer skills (eg. spreadsheet software, powerpoint)
