About The Position

The Compliance Test Engineer designs, analyzes, develops, modifies, and evaluates materials, mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging. The role conducts feasibility, design-margin, validation, and empirical testing for new and modified designs; contributes to architecture development and assessment; and evaluates the reliability of materials, properties, designs, and production techniques. The engineer may direct support personnel or partner organizations in detailed design, design testing, prototype fabrication, and production tooling. At the intermediate level, this position applies subject-matter expertise to solve common technical problems, provides analysis and recommendations as an informed team member, and works independently within an established framework with moderate supervision. It designs portions of mechanical and thermal hardware, electronics enclosures, and production tooling; develops and implements test parameters and plans for existing designs; and collaborates with internal and outsourced partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for low- to moderately-complex products. The role is designated onsite, with an expectation of primarily working from an HPE office.
