About The Position

This role is responsible for the successful execution and reporting of all EDI and logistics transactions. It acts as an essential go-between, working with vendors, stores, and the purchasing team. The position requires a strong understanding of EDI systems, compliance processes, and the ability to collaborate with various internal teams to enhance compliance and efficiency. The role also involves tracking and addressing issues that lead to financial chargebacks, monitoring vendor compliance with guidelines and freight programs, and supporting changes to transaction mappings. Additionally, the role assists with training personnel in EDI support activities and provides general customer service. The role involves processing purchase orders and generating/analyzing EDI and logistics reports for vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to Worldwide Golf Compliance standards. It also includes maintaining documentation of compliance activities and providing logistics support such as routing BOLs, reviewing freight invoices, and researching freight changes. The role assists in maintaining ERP item information and collaborates with stores to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Intermediate skill set in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Must be ethical, meticulous, organized, dependable and can work with people in various departments and levels within and outside the organization, while solving issues and quickly addressing concerns.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities within the confines of a tightly defined deadline.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of EDI related / customer service experience either in a business or technical capacity is preferred.
  • Recent graduates with their Bachelor’s Degree who are looking to learn and grow are also considered.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities with knowledge of customer service and phone etiquette principles and practices, with clear, concise, and accurate communication skills.
  • Exposure to and familiarity working with SPS commerce is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience working with SAP is a plus, but not required.
  • Golf knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, report, and escalate electronic data interchange (EDI) systems to ensure compliance with applicable controls and standards.
  • Deliver final compliance reports and document results to support current compliance requirements.
  • Track and address issues that trigger financial chargebacks.
  • Monitor and communicate with vendors to ensure compliance with current guidelines and negotiated freight programs.
  • Support and promote changes and enhancements to existing and new transaction mappings.
  • Assist with training personnel in EDI support activities.
  • Provide general customer service as necessary.
  • Process (import / review / submit) PO’s as needed.
  • Process (generate / analyze / communicate) EDI and logistics reports with vendors and internal shareholders to bring all to the expected Worldwide Golf Compliance established in the company guidelines.
  • Maintain documentation of compliance activities for vendors and stores.
  • Provide logistics support by routing BOL’s, reviewing freight invoices, researching, and suggesting LTL, and freight changes suitable to us.
  • Help maintain ERP item information such as backorder dates, End of Life from daily inventory feeds.
  • Collaborate with stores to resolve current issues.
