Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related subject matter or equivalent combination of years of experience and education.
  • 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing or Distribution environment.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft office including Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • ERP Systems knowledge, Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer.
  • Detail oriented, to provide the highest level of quality.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Self-directed and able to prioritize responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer compliance requests, including questionnaires, audits, and portal submissions (e.g. Assent or customer specific systems).
  • Own and manage product compliance programs related to RoHS, PFAS, REACH, TSCA, Prop65, Conflict Minerals (CMRT), Country of Origin (COO), USMCA, and similar global regulations, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer and regulatory inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to answer compliance requests related to Labor rights, Resilience, Data Protection and Privacy, Climate Impact, Pollution, Human Trafficking and Slavery, and Diversity.
  • Manage Country of Origin and trade related compliance requests, ensuring accurate classification, origin statements, and documentation for customer and shipment requirements.
  • Lead supplier data collection and validation, working upstream with manufacturers and vendors to obtain material declarations, origin statements, and regulatory disclosures.
  • Maintain and continuously improve compliance documentation, templates, and standard responses, ensuring consistency, traceability, and audit readiness.
  • Evaluate compliance risk and prioritize responses based on customer impact, regulatory exposure, and business relevance, applying practical judgment to high volume, low value requests.
  • Track compliance metrics and trends, reporting status, gaps, and improvement opportunities to leadership and recommend process or tooling enhancements.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and HR to align compliance with operational goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
