About The Position

The Compliance Specialist plays a key role in keeping our relationship with our external sales network strong, transparent, and built on trust. You'll be the connective tissue between our clients and our independent field sales team: a talented, entrepreneurial group who drive our business forward every day. You'll dig into data, spot patterns, and turn insights into real conversations that support their continued success. Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Compliance Specialist, with a background in fraud detection, investigations, and process refinement
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data, identify anomalies, and translate findings into clear, actionable reporting
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and case management/reporting tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear investigation summaries and engage effectively with external partners
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with sound judgment and confidentiality
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize a shifting caseload independently
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted tools (e.g., reconciliation support, reporting, data analysis) to boost accuracy and efficiency, while knowing when a task needs hands-on review

Nice To Haves

  • familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau preferred
  • Familiarity with independent dealer channels, third-party sales organizations, or compliance requirements within direct sales is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage compliance case workload using Salesforce workflows
  • Utilize a variety of reports to prioritize compliance calls with field sales team leaders
  • Own and manage the compliance feedback loop between the client and Smart Circle
  • Participate in system enhancement projects, contributing subject-matter expertise during development sessions
  • Document findings clearly and accurately for internal reporting and case tracking
  • Lead weekly compliance calls, highlighting current trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Follow company guidelines and best practices for responsible AI use and data security
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs and organizational priorities
