About The Position

The Compliance Professional 2's primary responsibility is completing fraud, waste and abuse reporting, and referrals for government agencies in a fast paced, time sensitive environment. Researches compliance issues and recommends changes that assure compliance with contract obligations. Maintains relationships with government agencies. Coordinates implementation and compliance with corrective action plans, as needed. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with data management and reports
  • Experience with Excel Data Management/Excel expertise
  • Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 5%, in order to attend meetings and trainings, as required
  • Strong attention to detail, especially as it pertains to contracts, proofreading, and reports
  • Self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
