About The Position

We're seeking a Compliance & Legal Specialist to partner with our Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and General Counsel in advancing enterprise-wide compliance, privacy, ethics, and legal operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare or senior living compliance, legal support, risk management, or regulatory affairs
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, OSHA, OCR, and related regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support and strengthen the organization's enterprise-wide compliance and ethics program
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement compliance policies, education, and training
  • Monitor healthcare regulations including HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, OSHA, OCR, ADA, IRS, EEOC, and other regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate compliance audits, enterprise risk assessments, and corrective action plans
  • Assist with investigations, compliance hotline management, and regulatory inquiries
  • Support privacy, records management, and data governance initiatives
  • Prepare legal documentation, regulatory filings, contracts, and responses to legal requests
  • Assist with licensing activities, renewals, audits, subpoenas, and litigation support
  • Collaborate across departments to promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Help ensure the organization remains compliant with evolving federal and state regulations
