About The Position

The Compliance Investigator conducts objective, thorough, and timely investigations into compliance, regulatory, ethical, privacy, and organizational policy concerns in a behavioral health environment. The position supports the organization's compliance program by evaluating allegations of misconduct, documenting investigative findings, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
At least two years of professional experience in behavioral health.
At least two years of investigative, compliance, audit, risk management, quality improvement, privacy, or related experience.
Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel at least 30% of the time.

Nice To Haves

CHC, CCEP, CFE, CHP, CIA, or similar certification.
Healthcare compliance, privacy, or regulatory experience.
Knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, Behavioral Health Licensing requirements, and fraud prevention.
