As an entry-level Compliance Inspector, you will work independently in the field executing company-provided routes. You will conduct physical and visual inspections of underground (UST) and aboveground (AST) petroleum storage tank systems to ensure they meet federal EPA and state environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Regularly moves and positions inspection equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Maneuvers heavier access covers (75–100 lbs) utilizing leverage tools.
- Frequently stoops, bends, kneels, crouches, or reaches to access low-clearance areas, sumps, and containment basins.
- Inspects components visually, reads regulatory documents/gauges, and detects environmental hazards or petroleum odors (e.g., fuel vapors or leaks) to ensure site safety.
- Drives company vehicles for extended periods and communicates effectively with team members and clients.
Nice To Haves
- No prior experience needed! We provide full training and help you obtain multiple state certifications (A/B Operator Certifications) within 30–90 days.
Responsibilities
- Travel assigned routes, operating a company vehicle safely across various driving conditions.
- Perform visual and physical inspections of clients’ petroleum storage tank systems, containment sumps, and dispenser islands in outdoor environments.
- Accurately collect and organize inspection data using company-provided iOS software platforms/iPads.
- Identify, document, and report any unsafe conditions, leaks, or environmental hazards promptly.
- Serve as a professional, professional representative of 7G, addressing customer requests and collecting feedback to enhance service quality.
