About The Position

The Compliance Inspector plays a crucial role in maintaining the beauty, integrity, and compliance of the neighborhoods served by Community Association Management. This role is responsible for regularly inspecting residential communities to ensure alignment with governing documents and standards. The inspector will identify potential violations, communicate with Community Managers, and maintain accurate, actionable records to support community compliance efforts. This role is field-based and includes a minimum of 4 hours per day spent in a company-provided vehicle conducting inspections.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to make decisions independently and remain objective.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and interacting at all organizational levels.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or higher preferred; experience in compliance, quality control, or property-related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of homes, lots, and community common areas.
  • Identify, document, and report violations in accordance with governing documents.
  • Issue violation letters and monitor resolution through re-inspections.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including photo evidence and notes.
  • Communicate effectively with Community Managers about inspections and findings.
  • Follow pre-established drive routes for inspection schedules.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports on inspection outcomes.
  • Use and maintain company-issued technology and equipment.
  • Ensure company vehicle is properly maintained and mileage is tracked.
  • Submit monthly expense reports related to inspection activities.
