About The Position

The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for providing advice and support on straightforward HSE&C related matters, supporting in the accurate and timely resolution of HSE&C related noncompliance findings. This role is responsible for agency engagement and project support along with key compliance program roll outs. Proactively develop and execute compliance programs and relationships that minimize the regulatory risk and successfully reduce or eliminate violations around operational.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 3 years of relevant business experience.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment and balancing multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge or ability to interpret HSE regulations.
  • Experience managing third-party relationships, including contractors and regulators.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage third parties, including governmental agencies.
  • Proven ability to manage and oversee contractor’s work.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and flexing to respond to unanticipated events as needed.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability and track record of engaging at all levels of the organization and effectively building trust, support, and commitment.
  • Listens carefully and considers diverse perspectives.

Responsibilities

  • Track and update the notice of noncompliance matrix to support the HSE&C portfolio including report discovery, communication, and follow up
  • Proactively develop and maintain working relationships with applicable regulators and contractors.
  • Support the Regulatory Applicability program by tracking and updating leadership on the trends and upcoming regulatory changes that impact our network i.e. OSHA, DEP, EPA and local regulators.
  • Manage compliance testing program: manage testing contractors, scheduling, dispatching, review test results, manage repairs/retests.
  • Assist in the interpretation and delivery of regulatory requirements through stakeholder and agency collaboration.
  • Process and resolve NOVs, including managing necessary testing, repairs, agency inspections, negotiations, and formal closure of violations
  • Support the inspection and deficiency program.
  • Act as the support for Subject Matter Experts (SME) for HSE regulations in all operating regions.
  • Support OMS implementation and conformance.
  • Manage relationships with SMEs and contractors overseeing alarm management, inspections, and permit management.
  • Support and monitor the alarm management platform.
  • Engage with regulatory agencies on permit to operate status and inquiries.
