About The Position

The Compliance Coordinator supports the organization's regulatory compliance, quality management, and administrative oversight functions. This position helps maintain systems related to Quality Management, Corporate Compliance, HR regulatory readiness, and organizational policy governance. The role assists with audits, monitoring activities, training compliance, and documentation to ensure adherence with federal, state, contractual, and accreditation requirements. It also supports leadership in maintaining documentation and operational readiness for regulatory inspections, accreditation surveys, and funding audits.

Requirements

  • Associate degree with relevant administrative, compliance, or healthcare experience.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in compliance support, quality management, healthcare administration, or a related administrative field.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health, or a related field.
  • Experience working with regulatory or accreditation environments such as CARF, HHSC, healthcare compliance programs, or federal grant requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the organization's corporate compliance and regulatory readiness activities, including documentation, monitoring, and reporting processes.
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of internal and external audits, inspections, and accreditation reviews.
  • Maintain and track compliance documentation related to policies, procedures, contracts, agreements, and memorandums of understanding (MOUs).
  • Monitor and maintain records related to training compliance, including Relias training, professional development requirements, and state-mandated training.
  • Track workforce compliance documentation, including professional licensure verification, background checks, DFPS checks, and motor vehicle records (MVR) where applicable.
  • Assist with Quality Management and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, including audit tracking, PDSA initiatives, surveys, and corrective action monitoring.
  • Maintain organized compliance files and documentation related to contractors, insurance questionnaires, and vendor compliance requirements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of organizational policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and documentation systems used to monitor organizational performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with departments across the organization to support implementation of regulatory expectations, organizational policies, and compliance responsibilities.
