About The Position

The Compliance Coordinator ensures all third-party partners meet the organization’s regulatory and contractual standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, managing the lifecycle of their documentation and ensuring that all necessary verifications—from insurance to background checks—are accurate, complete, and current

Requirements

  • HS Diploma is required.
  • Experience working in a legal department or compliance department is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors or Certificate in General Insurance preferred
  • Experience working with AI-Powered Contract Review Tool and Corrigo are a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Subcontractor Liaison: Proactively coordinate and communicate with subcontractors to acquire all necessary compliance documentation well in advance of expiration dates.
  • Documentation Review: Review and analyze critical source documents, including subcontractor agreements, insurance certificates (COIs), W-9s, and employee-level verifications.
  • Audit & Analysis: Monitor compliance reports to identify gaps or risks; perform detailed background investigation reviews to ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Quality Control: Audit all incoming paperwork for accuracy and completeness to maintain a "ready-to-audit" filing system.
  • Director Support: Execute specialized reporting and other compliance functions as assigned by the Director of Compliance to support departmental goals
