About The Position

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Coordinator to help ensure our facility operates at the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and food safety compliance. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys training others, improving processes, and playing a key role in maintaining a safe and compliant plant environment. As the Compliance Coordinator, you will partner closely with plant leadership and employees to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, while helping build a strong culture of safety and accountability across the facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Two or more years of relevant experience in safety, compliance, environmental health, or plant operations
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and cross-functional groups
  • Basic math and computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of EPA regulations, SQF (Safe Quality Food), and FSMA
  • Familiarity with PSM (Process Safety Management) and NFPA standards
  • Experience developing or delivering employee training programs

Responsibilities

  • Ensure plant-wide compliance with OSHA, EPA, food safety, and company safety standards.
  • Manage and maintain the ESA compliance database, ensuring tasks, incidents, and corrective actions are documented and completed on time.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees and new hires on safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct annual compliance reviews, audits, and inspections, maintaining required documentation and communications with corporate leadership and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor workplace practices and equipment to ensure ongoing safety and environmental compliance.
  • Lead the plant safety committee, facilitating meetings, identifying risks, and implementing improvement initiatives.
  • Support plant operations with special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Assist with employee hiring processes and random drug testing coordination.
  • Review operational procedures to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in community and company meetings as a representative of the facility.
  • Provide coverage for plant supervisory roles when needed and perform other duties as assigned.
