About The Position

Supports the efficient daily operation of the Compliance Department activities in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel and all applicable and all applicable Sac & Fox (S&F) Tribal, federal, National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) and local gaming laws and regulations. Contributes to the daily monitoring of cash transactions, promotions, gaming reports, and emails to ensure the Casino’s compliance with applicable reporting requirements. Performs general office duties. This position maintains professionalism in all interactions with internal and external customers and fosters a culture of compliance. Requirements

  • Regulatory/compliance audit experience (internal/external) in the casino or financial sector related to Title 31/BSA/AML preferred.
  • Experience in a casino Cage, Security, Surveillance or gaming department is helpful.
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the S&F Gaming Commission.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background screening / investigation according to the established requirements below.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the daily operation of the MBCH Compliance Department.
  • Contributes to the review of guest transactions to ensure Casino's compliance with applicable federal, Tribal and local regulations by utilizing all available MBCH Compliance tools used to help identify and investigate unusual patterns or trends in financial transactions.
  • Aides in the investigations for Know Your Customer (KYC).
  • Serves as another layer of review of casino activity for CTR and SAR filings.
  • Logs all promotion wins for 1099 reporting.
  • Maintains current knowledge of BSA compliance requirements, policies and procedures, NIGC MICs and S&F TICs, and other related regulatory requirements by participating in education related to BSA/AML and Title 31.
  • Maintains Compliance logs.
  • Serves as a point of contact for internal departments on matters related to BSA/AML, Title 31, FinCEN and related regulations; supports training as required to foster a culture of compliance.
  • Complies with policies and procedures required by the Compliance Department, MBCH, the S&F Gaming Commission, and NIGC.
  • Supports the training of all departments as relates to Title 31/SAR, performing interviews for knowledge of the program.
  • Contributes to a team effort to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Compliance Director.
