About The Position

Tri-City Group is hiring for a Compliance Coordinator for an immediate opening in Davenport, IA. This position is responsible for ensuring regulations for federal and state regulations are being met and documented from managing driver qualifications, tracking trainings completed, and maintaining accurate documentation records. This role partners closely with HR, Safety, and Operations to implement proactive systems that support safe and compliant driving practices across the organization.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Stay current on all DOT regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance
  • Collaborate with operations to implement proactive compliance systems and processes
  • Partner with the Safety Director to implement policies and training initiatives
  • Coordinate with Human Resources in maintaining Driver Qualification files and drug and alcohol program compliance
  • Participate in monthly calls and ongoing training sessions
  • Maintain and update training materials as needed
  • Maintain and communicate an up-to-date “approved drivers” list to Safety and Operations
  • Conduct regular self-audits: driver files (quarterly) and vehicle files (semi-annually)
  • Review traffic violations and incidents; provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Maintain regular communication with management and staff
  • Provide mentorship and support to employees
