About The Position

The Compliance Coordinator role is tasked with preparing new and current employees with all relevant safety information and materials to perform the duties of their job. Mostly focused on drivers and driving assistants, the safety administrator will host safety meetings and repetitive training meetings to ensure all employees are up to date with best safety practices and current standards for the operations of their vehicles and completion of daily tasks.

Leesel Transportation is a Special and Regular Education Transportation provider in the New York City area. Headquartered in The Bronx, we serve the NYC Department of Education, as well as some other NYC pre-K and private school programs. Requirements

• One (1) year of working experience.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Develop a schedule to assess safety needs.
• Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership.
• Track and compile collected data.
• Communicate safety needs and online resources.
• Create safety and training strategies, initiatives, and materials.
• Contact and utilize outside vendors and resources for instructional technology.
• Test and review created materials.
• Maintain a database of all safety materials.
• Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
