About The Position
Develops, implements and monitors Compliance initiatives and activities. Researches, analyzes and reports on various regulatory issues that may arise within Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in compliance or related field
- Previous healthcare experience
- Experience implementing a healthcare Compliance Program, including leading large-scale initiatives, development of compliance audit plans, and handling confidential investigations
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance with detailed understanding of State and Federal laws and regulations, and healthcare finance risks
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence across organization boundaries

Responsibilities
- Leads Compliance initiatives.
- Provides subject matter expertise to assigned focus areas (e.g., Sibley, physician practices, ambulatory sites, Arthur M. Blank, Scottish Rite, Hughes Spalding, Marcus).
- Conducts investigations.
- Provides specialized education and training.
- Performs risk-based compliance reviews and risk assessments at the direction of Compliance leadership.
- Establishes Compliance Audit schedule for assigned locations.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. e.g., monthly rounding and serving on appropriate committees to provide compliance support to operations.
- Prepare and present monthly compliance reports identifying and tracking all compliance issues, concerns, and initiatives.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
