Founded in 1986, OnTrac has evolved into the leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. for premier e-commerce and product-supply businesses, including five of the largest retailers in the U.S. The primary purpose of this position is to enhance the Company’s ability to provide quality service to its customers by acting as a liaison between the operations personnel and vendors providing services on behalf of OnTrac. This role involves reducing Company’s exposure to certain liabilities by maintaining vendor contract compliance, therefore strengthening the company’s defensibility.

Requirements

Associate’s Degree or two years contract compliance and Vendor Relations-related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of both
Previous knowledge of transportation industry, preferred
A high level of analytical skills, project management and accounting experience
The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization
Ability and willingness to travel up to 60%

Responsibilities

Be the main point of contract regarding qualification needs for Regional Service Providers and other providers of transportation and delivery services.
Act as a liaison between the operations personnel and vendors providing services on behalf of the Company.
Assist in the prevention and resolution of various disputes between Company and Regional Service Providers and vendors.
Perform periodic inspections on all contractual compliance and qualification items relating to Insurance, DOT/FMCSA, Business Licenses, DMV Permits, etc.
Train and inform OnTrac personnel on both proper methods of communication with RSPs and assist with contract knowledge.
Heavy communication with both Operations and RSPs ensuring contract compliance; ensuring strong, legal business relationships.
Communicate all findings and recommend courses of action with appropriate individuals.
