About The Position

As a Compliance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Bank’s compliance program by monitoring activities, reviewing documentation, and helping ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. From preparing for audits to tracking compliance efforts, you’ll work closely with internal teams to identify risks, support corrective actions, and maintain the high standards that protect both our customers and our organization. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining trust, reducing risk, and strengthening the Bank’s overall compliance culture.

Requirements

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Comfortable working with confidential information
  • A strong communicator (written and verbal)
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Analytical with solid problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in banking, compliance, audit, or administrative support is a plus (but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with monitoring compliance with banking regulations (Reg Z, Reg B, BSA/AML, CRA, etc.)
  • Reviewing loan files, customer documentation, and transactions for accuracy and compliance
  • Preparing and organizing documentation for audits and regulatory exams
  • Maintaining compliance testing schedules and workpapers
  • Supporting compliance reporting for leadership review
  • Tracking corrective actions and assisting with follow-ups
  • Partnering with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure compliance standards are met
