Position Overview: Bankers Surety is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Compliance team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the surety and insurance industry while developing professional skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably in business, finance, legal studies, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Process and distribute incoming mail
- Process UCC filings for new and existing agents
- Send follow-up correspondence to obtain missing documentation for large bond files
- Image agency files, large bond files, reconveyances, and satisfactions
- Process and monitor lis pendens files received
