Headquartered in New York City, Authentic has offices in major metropolitan cities including Los Angeles and Miami, as well as Toronto, Mexico City, London, and Shanghai. The intern would support the whole team but mostly the coordinator role, with tasks around collecting and tracking Certificate of Insurance, Collecting and Tracking Royalty Reports, organizing report onto shared drive, helping coordinate agreements review and status with 3rd party consultants, etc.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s or Master's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with royalty contract structures and revenue-sharing models.
  • Proficient in Excel and enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or royalty management tools).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work onsite in our NYC office
  • Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex task

Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and analyze revenue reports to calculate royalty obligations.
  • Interpret and apply contractual terms to royalty calculations.
  • Monitor compliance with royalty agreements and escalate discrepancies.
  • Maintain royalty and compliance databases and documentation.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and external partners regarding revenue tracking and royalty issues.
  • Support internal audits and respond to external audit requests.
  • Assist in improving royalty processing workflows and compliance procedures.
