About The Position

The Connection is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance and Risk Management Specialist to provide administrative and operational support for agency-wide compliance, risk management, insurance, contract administration, licensing, and quality improvement activities. This entry-level professional position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in compliance and risk management within a mission-driven human services organization. Working under the guidance of senior compliance and risk management staff, the CRM Specialist 1 supports the maintenance of critical systems and workflows related to contracts, grants, insurance, licensing, records management, document retention, and regulatory compliance. The role assists with audits, corrective action tracking, insurance-related processes, HIPAA compliance activities, and other initiatives designed to promote organizational accountability and reduce risk. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys managing details, organizing information, coordinating processes, and collaborating with program staff across multiple locations. The CRM Specialist 1 is expected to learn agency systems, provide dependable operational support, and progressively build knowledge of compliance and risk management practices while working closely with more experienced team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree and one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities
