The Department of Criminal Justice Services is seeking a collaborative and innovative team player to serve as a full-time Compliance and Enforcement Manager in Richmond, Virginia. This position supports the Division of Licensure and Regulatory Services’ five programs (private security, bail bondsmen, bail enforcement agent, special conservator of the peace, and tow truck drivers). The Compliance and Enforcement Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Division’s compliance, investigations, adjudication, and criminal history programs. This position ensures regulatory and enforcement activities are conducted consistently, fairly, and in accordance with the Code of Virginia, Virginia Administrative Code, Administrative Procedure Act, and agency policies. This position oversees staff responsible who support public safety and professional accountability within Virginia’s private security industry and related programs (private security, bail bondsmen, bail enforcement agent, special conservator of the peace, and tow truck drivers). The role serves as a key advisor to Division leadership on enforcement operations, compliance risks, operational improvements, and emerging regulatory issues.
