Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, real estate operations, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
  • Professional, adaptable, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in real estate property management, financial services, or other regulated environments preferred
  • experience with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day compliance support to internal stakeholders, including property and asset management teams
  • Review, assess, and assist in resolving compliance issues escalated across the organization, including remediation efforts
  • Analyze compliance data and testing results to identify trends and areas of risk
  • Draft, update, and distribute compliance policies, procedures, and related communications
  • Develop and deliver training on company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Evaluate compliance processes and internal controls to identify gaps or inefficiencies and support process improvements
  • Respond to regulatory, legal, and consumer inquiries, coordinating with internal teams and external counsel as needed
  • Assist in the execution of the compliance monitoring and testing program, including control testing across internal policies, and applicable regulations
  • Support vendor due diligence and third-party risk management processes, including risk assessments and control evaluations
  • Support the ongoing development and strengthening of the Compliance Program
  • Perform other duties as assigned
