About The Position

The Compliance Analyst supports FirstCash's commitment to regulatory excellence by helping monitor, assess, and strengthen compliance programs across the organization. This role partners with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify risks, evaluate controls, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in compliance, risk management, audit, financial services, or a related area.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with consumer finance, regulatory compliance, audit, or risk management programs.
  • Knowledge of compliance monitoring and testing methodologies.
  • Experience interpreting laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, execution, and enhancement of compliance monitoring and testing programs.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and control gaps.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and objective reports, documentation, and workpapers.
  • Partner with business units and stakeholders to support compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Communicate compliance findings and escalate significant issues when appropriate.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and mitigate risk.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends that may impact business operations.
  • Support special projects and other compliance-related initiatives as assigned.
