About The Position

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Complex Commercial & Energy Litigation Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 200 firm in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level to senior litigation associate with a strong commercial litigation background to join a sophisticated litigation practice handling complex business and energy-related disputes.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong experience handling complex commercial and business disputes
• Experience litigating sophisticated matters in state and federal courts
• Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Experience managing significant portions of complex litigation matters
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work effectively on sophisticated, high-stakes disputes
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced litigation practice
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

• Experience with energy-related litigation is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Handling complex business and energy-related disputes
• Litigating sophisticated matters in state and federal courts
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents
• Taking and defending depositions
• Managing significant portions of complex litigation matters
• Direct client interaction and involvement in litigation strategy
• Developing deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience

Benefits

• Compensation $200,000 – $325,000+
• Hybrid flexibility
