About The Position

The Completions Foreman supervises contractors performing completion, well service, and workover operations on wells. The role coordinates with vendors and Continental Resources counterparts to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and crews to the wellsite. It also monitors operational costs and efficiency, ensures vendor compliance with company and regulatory requirements, and maintains working relationships with contractors and surface owners.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least five years of related experience.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Acceptable pre-employment background check and drug test.
Ability to pass a respiratory fit test, if applicable to the route or location.
Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry instruments, and climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work overhead for extended periods.
Ability to perform fine manipulations with hands and fingers.
Ability to drive 150 miles or more per day in all types of weather.
Ability to carry up to 25 pounds with one arm without assistance.
Ability to bend, crouch, pull, and kneel regularly to check equipment and gauges.
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently to move or manipulate objects.
Ability to work significant additional time as needed to complete job responsibilities.
Ability to work in field environments with extremely loud noises and exposure to hazardous chemicals and potentially extremely pressurized hydrocarbons, using appropriate safety measures.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise contract services employed in completion or workover operations.
Forecast upcoming contractor and internal needs within completion operations.
Communicate with contractors professionally and with sufficient lead time to uphold safety standards and environmental stewardship.
Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and crews to maintain business continuity.
Provide contractors with feedback to improve their operations within the company’s scope of work.
Record accurate, detailed daily work reports and costs in Wellview.
Assist with vendor selection and material sourcing.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with surface owners.
Verify vendor compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures.
Monitor cost performance and operational efficiency, and identify and report trends.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regional laws.
Review and approve payable invoices.
Recommend changes in techniques and procedures to Completion Engineers, the Superintendent, and the Supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
