About The Position

The Summer 2027 Completion Engineering Collegiate Intern position is an onsite, career-building internship with Gulfstream in Dallas. The role involves aircraft interior design integration of electrical systems, components, and furniture installations. Under direct supervision, the intern selects appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve engineering issues, and balances technical product considerations with cost and schedules when approaching problems. The position allows latitude in determining technical objectives for assignments and making decisions and recommendations about appropriate direction. The intern may perform other duties as assigned.

The internship requires a minimum of 12 weeks during summer. Juniors complete two rotations; seniors and graduate students complete one rotation. The intern must have reliable transportation and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. This is not a remote position.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher.
• Must have completed sophomore year before the internship start date.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, without rounding; GPA must be listed on the resume.
• Must complete the rotation requirement: juniors complete two rotations; seniors and graduate students complete one rotation.
• Must be available for a minimum 12-week summer internship.
• Must work onsite; the position is not remote.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of 3D design software.
• Knowledge of CATIA V5-SmarTeam/Enovia.
