About The Position

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a collegiate intern for a summer 2027 role in Completion Engineering in GAC Dallas. The position provides a career-building experience using the intern’s skills within a world-class organization. Under direct supervision, the intern selects methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve engineering issues, balancing technical product considerations with cost and schedules. The role exercises latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments and makes decisions and recommendations to determine an appropriate direction. Other duties may be assigned.

The posting also describes a Mechanical Design Engineer focus involving aircraft interior design integration of electrical systems, components, and furniture installations. The position is onsite and is not remote. Reliable transportation is required. The internship has a minimum duration of 12 weeks in summer. Juniors complete two rotations; seniors and graduate students complete one rotation.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Must have completed sophomore year before the internship start date.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, without rounding, and list it on the resume.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must complete a minimum 12-week summer internship.
• Juniors must complete two rotations; seniors and graduate students must complete one rotation.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of 3D design software.
• Knowledge of CATIA V5-SmarTeam/Enovia.

Responsibilities
