About The Position

The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting compensation data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. This role requires advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting, participation in compensation surveys, and the development of compensation reports and dashboards. The analyst will also assist in job evaluations, ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations, and support annual compensation processes. Effective communication with HR, management, and all levels of personnel is crucial, as is the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, macros, and power query.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of compensation practices, principles, and regulations.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as commissions, proportions, and percentages, and to apply concepts of basic algebra.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, business periodicals, professional journals, and technical bulletins.
  • Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively deliver oral presentations and to respond to questions from groups of managers, engineers, and colleagues daily.
  • Effective interpersonal communication and relationship development skills.
  • Frequent interchange and effective interaction and communication with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation.
  • Provide support in the administration of annual compensation processes, including merit increases, bonuses, and equity awards.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to communicate compensation policies and procedures effectively.
