About The Position

This role combines two key functions: Compensation Analyst and HR Generalist. As a Compensation Analyst, the individual will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s compensation programs to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and alignment with business objectives. This includes analyzing salary data, developing pay structures, and promoting fair, consistent, and compliant compensation practices. As an HR Generalist, the role serves as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, supporting daily HR operations such as employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and general HR administration. The position requires working with employees to achieve the company's Vision, Mission, and Values through excellent communication, respect, integrity, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in related experience and/or training, specializing in compensation; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Experience with compensation survey tools (e.g., ERI, Mercer, Korn Ferry)
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom, Workday, SAP, ADP)
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compensation regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or equivalent certification
  • Deep understanding of compensation principles, methodologies and market trends
  • Experience with advanced Excel functions and data visualization tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and evaluate compensation structures (salary grades, bands, and job classifications)
  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using compensation systems and tools
  • Analyze compensation data and produce reports, metrics, and recommendations
  • Perform job evaluations and determine appropriate pay levels
  • Monitor pay equity and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency laws)
  • Ensure compensation programs align with organizational goals and budget constraints
  • Work closely with the HR Manager on compensation decisions (offers, promotions, adjustments)
  • Administer annual compensation cycles, including merit increases and bonus programs
  • Maintain accurate compensation data in HRIS systems
  • Support the development and communication of total rewards strategies
  • Support full-cycle recruitment (posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, onboarding)
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities
  • Serve as a resource for employee relations issues; provide guidance on policies and procedures
  • Administer HR programs, including benefits, leave of absence, rewards and recognition, and performance management
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in HRIS systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Administer employee handbook updates
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Support training and development initiatives
  • Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews
  • Assist with HR reporting and audits
