About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers is seeking an in-home Caregiver near its Glendora location. The caregiver provides compassionate support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain a safe and comfortable environment and assisting with daily activities, errands, appointments, and social activities. Caregivers use the Care app to update office staff about client progress as needed. The agency emphasizes holistic, person-directed care that respects clients and involves them in their own care. The role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities to develop caregiving skills through the Homewatch CareGivers University, and the chance to build meaningful relationships with clients as part of a supportive team. The agency is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by its management.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Must pass background checks and DMV checks and have a negative TB test.
Ability to meet quality standards of care and follow standard procedures.
At least one year of personal or professional caregiving experience.
Home Care Aide (HCA) registration; the agency will assist with the registration process if needed.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate in-home care to clients.
