Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Services Supervisor, the Community Outreach, Mobile Prevention and Accessible Substance-Use Support (COMPASS) program coordinator will provide community-based care to individuals suffering from substance use disorder (SUD) to help them overcome barriers and move toward recovery. This position is responsible for connecting individuals to local resources, providing ongoing recovery support, and to administer funding to help individuals overcome financial barriers to their recovery success. This position will collaborate with the Rice County Behavioral Health Unit, local law enforcement agencies, and community partners. The coordinator will be responsible for monitoring participant progress and maintaining communication with law enforcement and community partners. This position is grant funded through June 30, 2028.
