About The Position

This role involves representing Manufacturing in interactions with Product Engineering, Program Teams, and other stakeholders. The Manufacturing Engineer will analyze product designs to ensure manufacturability, ergonomic feasibility, and adherence to standard General Assembly processes. Key responsibilities include communicating design changes, requirements, risks, and manufacturability concerns, enforcing compliance with General Assembly strategies, and managing the deviation approval process. The engineer will also assess the overall program and enterprise impact from a manufacturing standpoint and conduct virtual studies and simulations, including VR reviews, static and dynamic studies, process virtual builds, and ergonomic assessments. Identifying and communicating potential ergonomic issues is also a critical part of the role. This position operates under a hybrid work policy, requiring 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, with the ability to report to a local office.
