About The Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design and maintain application delivery infrastructure across cloud and edge platforms. This role involves automating load balancing configurations, content delivery, and deploying, operating, and supporting containerized applications on cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring application health, analyzing performance, and resolving issues for web and mobile applications, as well as reviewing logs and metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize reliability and scalability. Additionally, you will document operational procedures, create runbooks for deployments and incident response, and collaborate with engineering and product teams on releases, changes, and incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • OR Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Five (5) years of experience using Python or Java to build automation and tooling that integrate with vendor and SaaS APIs to orchestrate infrastructure workflows and reduce manual operations.
  • Five (5) years of experience developing code with unit tests, error handling, and CI integration for deployment and operational tasks.
  • Three (3) years of experience provisioning and managing EC2 compute, S3 storage, Route 53, and IAM identities and policies to support secure, reliable application operations.
  • Three (3) years of experience implementing DNS records and routing policies in Route 53 aligned with multi-environment and failover requirements.
  • Three (3) years of experience applying least-privilege IAM policies for services, roles, and users supporting application delivery.
  • Two (2) years of experience configuring and managing content delivery on Akamai, including creating and maintaining ION properties and Cloudlets.
  • Two (2) years of experience configuring and managing Akamai Global Traffic Manager (GTM) for DNS-based traffic distribution and failover.
  • Two (2) years of experience designing, implementing, and operating containerized applications using Kubernetes including cluster setup, scaling, and deployment pipelines.
  • Two (2) years of experience configuring AWS Load Balancers with health checks, TLS termination, and routing rules to distribute traffic efficiently across services.
  • Two (2) years of experience applying best practices for high availability, resilience, and cost optimization for container-based services.
  • Two (2) years of experience designing data models, partitioning strategies, and consistency settings and implementing indexing and query optimization for at least one of the following NoSQL databases: Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • One (1) year of experience configuring and managing content delivery on at least one of the following CDNs: Cloudflare or AWS CloudFront.
  • One (1) year of experience building Angular or React front-end interfaces for automation workflows.
  • One (1) year of experience using Shell Scripting, Terraform, or Ansible to define, provision, and manage infrastructure as code with modularization, and environment separation.
