About The Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design and define architecture for large-scale co-brand credit card platforms, focusing on service-oriented and event-driven system design and regulatory alignment. You will design and oversee cloud architecture and platform capabilities for scalable distributed systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and reliability objectives. You will also define and oversee observability standards, including logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies to ensure system reliability and operational visibility. Additionally, you will lead and design application resiliency and reliability strategies for distributed systems, including fault-tolerant architecture, failure isolation, and recovery mechanisms to ensure high availability, scalability, and operational excellence. This role involves leading integration efforts between distributed applications and mainframe systems using z/OS-based APIs, ensuring system compatibility and data consistency. You will also design and develop frontend applications for co-branded credit card audit and reporting ensuring user-friendly interfaces and efficient data visualization. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Architecture, and SRE to translate business requirements into scalable system designs and enterprise integration solutions is key.
