About The Position

Universal Logistics is hiring local CDL-A drivers for intermodal and port work out of Compton, California. Drivers work locally and are home daily, transporting consistent, year-round freight. The work involves drop-and-hook and no-touch freight. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with either a day shift starting between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM or a night shift starting between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Shifts are 10–12 hours.

Pay is per load, with earnings up to $300 per day. Drivers are guaranteed $1,250 per week for the first four weeks. The employer reimburses the cost of obtaining TWIC and Hazmat credentials. The job is full-time and performed in person.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• At least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Able to obtain TWIC and Hazmat credentials within 60 days.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities
