About The Position

Universal Logistics is hiring local CDL-A drivers for intermodal and port work based in Compton, California. Drivers work locally and return home daily, transporting consistent, year-round freight. The position involves drop-and-hook operations and no-touch freight. Shifts are 10–12 hours, with weekday scheduling and either an early-morning or evening start. Pay is per load, up to $300 per day, with a guaranteed $1,250 per week for the first four weeks.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• At least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC and Hazmat within 60 days; the company reimburses the cost.
• Clean driving record.
