About The Position

At Griswold Home Care, we believe in building lasting friendships. As a Senior Care Companion, you will provide companionship, support, and joy to seniors who seek connection and care. Join our mission to help people "live assured" by promoting independence and peace of mind. This role involves bringing joy and social engagement to clients who wish to remain independent at home, engaging in conversations, games, storytelling, and walks. You will also assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation, provide medication reminders, and accompany clients to appointments or social outings, all while building meaningful and lasting relationships.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Able to provide at least 2 professional references
• Able to pass background check
• Compassionate, dependable, and friendly

Nice To Haves

• Valid license and current auto insurance (preferred) - or - reliable transportation
• Caregiving or companionship experience preferred but not required
• Experience as a caregiver, home health aide (HHA), CNA, companion, personal care assistant, or direct care worker
