About The Position
Assisting Hands provides home care where personal care is important, and the relationship is what makes it work. Our clients deserve familiar faces and caregivers they can depend on. We are looking for a CNA or PCA who enjoys conversation and genuinely likes spending time with older adults. The ideal candidate is someone clients can set their clock by, a good listener who notices small changes, and a person who follows through on instructions the first time and keeps the office informed. A professional who presents well with clients, families, and our team is essential.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina CNA certification or PCA
- Reliable transportation
- Consistent availability for regular, ongoing schedules (we are not hiring PRN-only at this time)
- Excellent attendance, patience, and compassion

Responsibilities
- Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Companionship, engagement, and support with daily routines
- Simple meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Reporting changes in a client's condition
