About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs and PCAs to provide in-home care in Matthews, NC, and surrounding communities. This role differs from facility-based care, focusing on one client at a time in their home, often for several hours. The position involves assisting with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and accompanying clients to appointments. A significant part of the role includes providing companionship, conversation, and engaging activities to keep clients mentally and socially active. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who prefer a calm, one-on-one setting and wish to build meaningful relationships with their clients.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina CNA certification or PCA
- Reliable transportation (not necessary to provide transportation for clients)
- Consistent availability and a strong attendance record
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions independently
