About The Position

Chinook Equipment in Nisku is expanding its product offerings by adding the Bobcat equipment line and is seeking a driven Compact Equipment Sales Specialist to lead this growth. The role involves prospecting new business, developing key accounts, and providing excellent customer service within a designated territory. This is an opportunity for an experienced sales professional from the heavy or compact equipment industry to advance their career with a family-owned company.

Requirements

Prior equipment sales experience is preferred, Bobcat experience is a strong asset
Strong connections within the Edmonton & area market
Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of equipment applications
Proven ability to build relationships and close deals
Results driven with exceptional execution skills to meet or exceed targets
Excellent communication and time management skills
Willingness to travel within your assigned territory
Ability to pass a criminal record/credit check and provide a clean driving abstract

Responsibilities

Represent and champion our Bobcat compact equipment line
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals
Prepare customer quotes, sales orders, and conduct tailored sales presentations/demonstrations as required
Develop customer solutions including financing and rental purchase options
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to provide valuable insights to customers.
Collaborate with internal teams (Service & Parts) to ensure seamless delivery and support
Deliver after-sale support and high levels of customer service
