About The Position

DATTCO is hiring Commuter Drivers for its Coach & Tour Group in New Britain, Connecticut. The role provides commuter transit services on fixed routes and a fixed, predictable schedule that allows drivers to be home every night. Drivers operate assigned vehicles safely and courteously, assist passengers, and provide respectful, polite, cooperative customer service. Vehicles must be inspected before and after each shift to ensure operational safety.

DATTCO is a third-generation, family-owned transportation company founded in 1924, with more than 2,500 employees throughout New England. Its Coach & Tour Group operates 200 vehicles and drives 6 million miles annually. The company offers multi-year contracts with corporations, universities, and CTtransit, as well as opportunities to earn more in the charter division.

Requirements

• CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement.
• Connecticut license holders also need an F endorsement. DATTCO will work with candidates to secure necessary endorsements.
• CDL Class C license holders may be considered for certain schedules.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
